PAINTINGS & NFT'S FROM PAINTINGS

Born from a French-Canadian family in  Boucherville (Quebec-CANADA) in 1981, I lived a happy existence and continued my studies on the south shore of Montreal. Having a natural talent and an attraction to art, I enrolled in Cégep (College) in Arts. At the same time around the age of nineteen, I was recruited by the modeling agency Next Canada. For almost ten years, I've had the good fortune to travel the world as a professional model. Milan, Hamburg, Osaka, Paris… are some of the cities where I have worked. In addition to discovering different cultures, this experience allowed me to meet good photographers. Introduced to photography and artistic composition, I took advantage of my free time to capture the images myself with my camera. So many subjects that I subsequently transposed into painting.

While in Toronto, I met a painter during a vernissage. It was with him and his father that I discovered a unique style of painting. I had the chance to paint with them, to learn and develop this art that I love more than anything. I then decided to make Art painting my profession and therefore fly on my own. At the beginning, I was represented by the art gallery Les Bouquinistes, which presented and sold my works for three years. In addition to doing my first solo opening (vernissage) there, I painted on-site on several occasions and gave painting workshops. This opportunity filled me with personal satisfaction and I took full possession of my desire to pass on my knowledge, whether it is colors, light or just artistic philosophy. As soon as I felt ready, in 2009, I took steps to be accepted in a Canadian art gallery, Galerie Vincent, of which I had heard all the merits. To my greatest happiness, they choose to represent me among their painters. My paintings were then represented at the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa as well as at the Royal York in Toronto. Over sixty of my works have been sold in galleries so far.

This is when I felt the need to take an artistic approach. I was therefore convinced that higher studies would positively contribute to my career. I registered, then following my acceptance I began the Fine Arts program at Concordia University. My challenge was all the greater as I spoke little or no English. I remembered coming out of my first class almost crying… I didn't understood the meaning of the class and oh no… at the end of class I realized that I wasn't even in the right room. I kept going. I'm moved forward even though I wasn't in my comfort zone. 

Today I can say that my difficulties have turned into a great success! I learned a huge "piece" of art history and on top of that I learned a second language. I have really grown up from this experience.

It is a great honor for me to be on the Canadian Art scene. I want to continue my way of immortalizing as many city scenes as there are places that I will visit. This year by discovering the world of cryptocurrency and particularly NFT’S, I see a virtual universe and his immensity opening up before me and I want to leave my mark there. 

Recruited by a professional Model agency, I add the chance the see the world and live in incredible cities for mouths at a time. 

This connected me to their culture and life.
